Sometimes you just gotta rip it all off like a band-aid
and “farewell is also a bold and powerful beginning” (the inverted commas is one of my favourite quotes written by Aron Ralstom, and I think it’s quite apt)

It’s always about you isn’t it? Always has. I shouldn’t regret what I did all that time ago, but a part of me does
What I find very funny is that if you had a problem like this I’d try talk to you about it. It says a lot really…
Just tried to say what was bothering me..got the hate…left, and now life goes on. Nobody is bothered by my absence, only what I caused
It’s come to a point where I can just be there, unnoticed whereas others arrive to massive fanfare.
It’s come to a point where people just have little respect, refuse to do as asked, simply because it’s me asking, but will actively respect the wishes of someone else.
It’s come to a point where I find myself clinging to the final shreds of hope that I have, unwilling to give up when by rights I should have.
It’s come to a point where sometimes I feel like a sailboat in the doldrums with no wind and nothing to move me backwards or forwards…only to remain bobbing alone
Anyone relate?
I’ve been thinking recently about starting a bucket list type thing. You know the thing…what to do before you die. where you want to go, what do you want to achieve. I understand though that over time your goals and aspirations will change according to your life experience…but I’m curious. What is one thing you’d like to do before you die?
Have had no internet for about a week. It’s nice to get away and have an excuse to miss deadlines and stuff but I’ve missed my friends on it…
really I have nothing to say…but i will one day make a video with my friend luke about good porno titles….erm hard to explain really…….;)
And I’ll do all the work

You make Charlie gifs. Cat’s out of the bag. You can’t pretend like he’s responsible for everything bad in the world anymore…. :
Just need to find one I can affix a hitlerstache to….then I can continue to blame him for everything wrong in the world :D
Unless I find them funny
krazykath replied to your post:I find it quite funny when people are all like “oh my God, Irish is a language??”
I feel like I just did that :) Wow bhfuil Gaeilge acu in Google translate!
Let me get that for you, what you’re saying is very wrong grammatically. The correct way is “wow, tá gaeilge sa Google Translate” which means “wow, Irish is in Google Translate” sin é an bealach ceart :)
Yes, yes it is
OK, so we all know the feeling, we all know what it is to smile. So I’m going to talk about it. A smile is damn powerful, but to explain something I’m going to tell a story first.
OK, so over the past 3 weeks myself and a few friends I’ve only ever spoken to online got together to make a plan. A friend of ours (also online) was having a birthday soon and so we decided that we’d do something for it. I hope she doesn’t mind me saying this, but this friend has been stuck inside her own house for about 2 years now due to an illness called M.E. As a result, she hasn’t had the most eventful of birthdays…and has spent a lot of time watching YouTube. We have since spoken tpo her on Skype a lot, and she’s become more confident etc etc (not this story sorry) and has joined a collab that I set up.
So Rachael (one of the group and a close friend of mine) decided that we’d make a video for her on her birthday. Then someone had the bright idea of getting a few famous YouTubers involved. The end result can be seen on YouTube on the channel TeenNerdsUnite if anyone is curious.
Anyway, she was overjoyed, said it was the best birthday she’d ever had. And you know what, I believe her. It wasn’t the required saying of it, i genuinely believe it was real and so I have to congratulate everyone who worked on it. So here’s to you Joe, Molly, Yogi, Ayelet, Rachael, Leigh (without whom we would likely not even know each other) and Sarah (who may not be in the collab but mentioned Lizzie nonetheless). You made someone smile, congratulations :)
But onto a more personal level. Just reading Lizzie’s reaction almost made me cry with happiness and I feel I was trying to suppress a grin after it all. While I certainly haven’t been someone who has been upset a lot, it is nice to see that people can still genuinely be happy. A smile is infectious, happiness is infectious and euphoria is a drug, an addictive drug, but one that will never harm you.
So my thanks to you all, anybody who has made someone smile, thank you, anyone who helped Lizzie (and myself) to smile, thank you. And a special thank you to Elmify and StrummingSally who made the video more special than we could have ever imagined. They won’t ever read this, but I thank them nonetheless.
I have no idea what to do now though…
Yes he’s dead, but it’s not going to do much. It’s going to be just like when any leader is assassinated, someone else will rise to take his place and may even get more support. The US says that this won’t happen, and of course they do. It gives people comfort, but right now I’m not going to buy into the news that there’s nobody to replace him. There’ll always be someone…

It’s one of the longest posts I’ve ever written, so felt it would be unsuited for Tumblr
